Oakland Animal Services (OAS) is the organization that operates the animal shelter for the city Oakland, CA. I was a volunteer there for two years, and during that time, I photographed adoptable animals as well as designed a few things to help spread the word about available pets.

I developed the concept for this project because it was nearing Valentine’s Day, and I thought it would be clever to highlight each dog’s personality in an individualized personal’s ad.
